Natural Resource Much? January 24, 2014
It’s 2014 folks. I’m guilty of it. You’re guilty of it. We are all to blame.
That’s right. It’s winter. The weather is nearly as cold as the preverbal fuck that followed it. And we all became immensely lazy. Let’s re-juice our noggins here and just think about a few things:
1) Why did it take a month for us to remember that shit was happening over the holidays in the world, even though we might not have been paying attention.
2) The world, as far as we know of it, is finite. In other words, for the “non-readers” out there, we only get one .

Our lakes should not be available for international sale! Dec. 19, 2013
Still waiting on a more viable news agency to confirm this story, however it does bring up an interesting debate. We at The Dirty Glove do not support or endorse the sale of Great Lakes water, domestic or international. What do you think?
The good side of technology Dec. 19, 2013Big thanks to Dirty Glove contributing photographer Timmy Tens for making us hip to this great holiday commercial from the folks at Apple. Technology can be for better or for worse. Too often it is used to perpetuate hate, ignorance, and an absence of artistic merit. Why not use it for some positive dirt?
We at The Glove accept all faiths and the lack thereof. We feel that the most important things about the winter holiday season are cherishing good family, good friends, good food, and good vibes.
No matter what you have, where you’re from, or what you believe, those four things transcend all.
We are better than this, America Dec. 19, 2013We at The Glove promote freedom of speech. We embrace the 1st amendment. We love our country. However, free speech is hurt by ignorant and hateful speech.
The Dirty Glove believes you are better than Duck Dynasty. You are better than the bullshit marketing campaigns run by sell-out media organizations. You are a reader. You are a thinker. You have integrity and views and voices. You are worth more than what much of TV would want you to believe.
His thoughts on black people in the south pre-civil rights:
“Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues,” GQ quoted Robertson as saying. Tell that to Emmett Till.
On that note, we say fuck the Duck.
If you want reality, you gotta put on your dirty gloves, get outside, and started digging.

Dirty, Cold Soul Dec. 11, 2013
A few tidbits and tunes:
“Hold On”, Boys and Girls
There are those rare songs that, after just a few seconds of chords or a few brief beats, you know have instantly won over your soul. Alabama Shakes did that with the single, “Hold On”, about a year and a half back. Since then, they have increased their mainstream success with their album Boys and Girls, and will soon be impossible to see outside of large venues and stadiums.
Winter has come. A tribute to one of the greatest places on Earth to experience it.
